The amounts come from the Medicare DMEPOS fee schedule published by CMS for . Feeding tube supply amounts come from Medicare's 2026 enteral nutrition fee schedule. They are allowed amounts for traditional Medicare. Medicare pays 80% and the remaining 20% is coinsurance. Medicare Advantage and commercial plans pay different amounts.

The estimate uses assumed supplies and quantities. Your residents' real supplies, quantities and coverage will differ. Medicare does not cover supplies during a Part A stay, and it denies claims that lack eligibility, medical need or documentation.
